Our class website

Project 1

This semester, students learned about teaching and learning. They thought about different levels of knowing and how those levels can be demonstrated in different ways. To help students visualize these levels they were introduced to Bloom’s Taxonomy. Using the different categories of this taxonomy, they evaluated some of their class assignments. They also developed their own history lessons, making “student activities” targeted at the different levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. 

To give a broader imporatance to their assignments, students were aware that all of their work product of the class would be put on a website dedicated to this Project Class. The end result is https://rem-project.info.

In the fall semester, students will continue to add content to the site, as will future project students. Once current students begin their job-hunting activities, they will be able to point to this project website as a tangible example of their learning journey.
