Predictably Irrational: Our Effort to Understand Human Behavior

With the initiation of the new Faculty of International Studies in 2022, first year students take a class called Advanced English 2: Critical Thinking Workshop. And for two years running, several sections of that class have had a class project of producing a podcast about the topics related to critical thinking.

  • Season 1 (2022) contained 10 episodes.
  • Season 2 (2023) was just released and contained another 17 episodes.

As of February 5, 2024, this podcast has been listened to more than 700 times. While the project itself gives students a different challenge in demonstrating their mastery of the content, the podcast also puts students’ work on a global stage where others, outside of the university, have the opportunity to learn something about the importance of critical thinking.
