Using English literature as the main material, the aim of my advanced classes is to teach students how to notice and reflect on the social, cultural, and political messages hidden behind words. In today’s globalized society, it is necessary for people to not only to acquire knowledge through exercises and lectures, but also to develop their internal resources in order to use that knowledge to answer questions about the world.
