On September 16, 1620, the Mayflower, carrying only 102 English people, sailed to America in search of the New World. However, after a tough voyage of 66 days, only 50 people managed to survive the first winter after arriving in America. This was the starting point of America. Have you ever wondered, “How did America, born from such a small number of people, become the world’s superpower over the next 400 years?” The process is complex but very interesting.
