Applied Studies in Global Business Ⅰ

On top of the Intellectual Property which we discussed at Global Business III, any company needs to have some business model for the sustainable revenue/profit in the business. A Business Model includes contractual structure with partners, such as customers/consumers or suppliers.

In this new course since 2023 fall semester, students can study the basics of such business models. While business laws differ from country to country, technically, the fundamental elements are common. Students can take advantage of those learnings when working in the business field. Students are supposed to make small presentation with their own research, after learning a relevant business model. For example, presentations about “Businesses based on Sales”, “Businesses based on Agency/Distributorship” and “Franchise Businesses”, “License Businesses” are planned at the former half of the course.
