The class has just finished its sixth week. The students have completed their first report on the topic of ‘Film’. The peer review helped them to identify areas for improvement that they had not noticed themselves. Reading their classmates’ reports was also a good stimulus, as they were exposed to ideas that were different from their own. The next report topic is ‘Food’. It is hoped that the various rules they have learnt in class, such as how to use direct and indirect quotes, how to write references and how to give proper titles, will be reflected in their next reports.
