Everyone in this class made a presentation in this month. Presentation topics covered the contemporary issues, hospitality, and services from the perspective of the SDGs and the post COVID-19 situation.
Some presentations considered the potential of tourism from different industries (e.g. food, sports, esthetic sectors, etc.). Other presentation topics varied discussing hospitality both for customers and for employees of service industries. There was also an introduction to travel agencies and transportation business (e.g. Shinkansen, taxis, airlines business, etc.) that have an impact on our tourism as a traditional travel entity.
Through recent in-class discussions, we also recognized the importance of effective communication and foreign language skills together with the sound knowledge of ICT technology and surrounding information of the business in our contemporary society.
